| Service Areas | Dr. Sergio H. Peneiras, a current resident in Freehold, grew up in Kearny, NJ. He is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. A graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, he earned a Bachelor Degree in Visual Science, and a Doctorate of Optometry with honors. His undergraduate work was completed with honors at Rutgers University. Dr. Peneiras has volunteered eye care at the Special Olympics, and has done missionary work in Guatemala. Actively involved in optometry both on the state and national levels, he was former vice-president and president of N.J.S.S.O.P. He is currently involved in the Monmouth Ocean County Society of Optometric Physicians and a member of the American Academy of Optometry. |
